Arrival 
Upon arrival in Helsinki, meet your private driver who transfers you to your centrally located hotel. 

City Tour
Following breakfast in your hotel, meet your private guide who takes you on a wonderful 4-hour walking tour to show you the best Helsinki can offer.

During the tour, you walk through the vivid Central Harbor and Market Square, explore the charming Old Town, visit the famous Rock Church and take a short tram ride. After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free.

Departure
Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and depart from  Helsinki. 

Arrival &  Lappish Wild Food Dinner 

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, where your Arctic adventure begins. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, Ruka-Kuusamo offers a serene escape into nature.

Today, take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the region by enjoying a walk through the peaceful forest. Let the crisp air and stunning scenery set the tone for your unforgettable journey in this winter wonderland.

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Kontioluola (Bear's Cave), a mythical restaurant hidden in the forest, just 7 km (a 10-minute drive) from Ruka Village.

The evening begins with a welcoming drink under the starry sky. During dinner, you will savor traditional local delicacies such as fish from the nearby lakes, berries from the forest, and reindeer, all prepared in an authentic Lappish style.

After the meal, if you're lucky, you may witness the enchanting Northern Lights dancing across the sky.

After dinner, you will be returned to your hotel.

A Day of Reindeer Adventures

Morning:
Visit a traditional reindeer farm, where you'll meet the herder and his reindeer companions. Enjoy a short sledge ride, feed the reindeer, and learn about their fascinating life and herding traditions. Relax in a cozy Lappish kota with open-fire sausages, warm drinks, and captivating stories of Lapland.

Evening:
Experience a magical 1.5 km reindeer sleigh ride through the dark, snow-covered forest. Snuggle under warm reindeer hides and take in the peaceful sounds of the winter wilderness. With a bit of luck, marvel at a starry sky, moonlit scenery, or even the northern lights. End the evening with a cozy snack by the open fire.

Departure 

After breakfast you check out, meet your driver and travel to Rovaniemi.

Arrival & Aurora Trail
Welcome to to the Motherland of Santa Claus - Rovaniemi!

Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel in the center of Rovaniemi for check-in.

Later we invite you to a magical winter forest where you have a chance to enjoy a blaze of Auroras. Primetime for watching the Nordic Lights is between 9 pm and midnight, so your group tour starts late in the evening. While you enjoy the winter fairy forest, your guide prepares some snacks and hot drinks for you at our outside camp. 

Group transportation by car and transfers from your hotel and back are included.

Snowmobile Safari & Visit of Santa Claus Village
Today you enjoy a fantastic group tour during which you visit famous Lapland sights and try an exciting northern activity.

This day starts with a brief introduction to snowmobiling after which you start driving to the wilderness. In the middle of the ride, you are invited to warm up near an open fire and enjoy grill sausages with warm drinks. Snowmobile safari with a stop takes about 3-4 hours.

Please, note: In order to drive a snowmobile please make sure to have your driver licence with you.
Due to unsuitable weather conditions (e.g. there is no snow or it is raining), a snowmobile ride and reindeer sleigh will be replaced with a visit to the Arktikum Museum.

After the safari, you continue your trip to Santa Claus Village where you have some time to visit the Snowman World and attend a real ice bar in it. You can also buy some traditional Finnish souvenirs and send postcards with special Arctic Circle stamp from Santa Claus main post office.

Please, note: Snowman World is open from beginning of December to end of March.

After the tour, you are transferred back to the hotel.

Rovaniemi Exploration Walk & Train to Kemi

Start your day by visiting the renowned Aalto buildings, designed by the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. The Rovaniemi City Library and the Lappia House, which houses the city theater, are prime examples of Aalto's modernist style. Admire the sleek lines and functional design that blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment.

Next, head to the Rovaniemi Church, a short walk from the Aalto buildings. This beautiful church, with its striking modern architecture and serene interior, is a must-see. Take a moment to appreciate the impressive altar fresco, which depicts the resurrection and is a symbol of hope and rebirth.

Continue your tour with a stroll across the Lumberjack's Candle Bridge. This iconic bridge, named after the traditional Finnish loggers' bonfire, offers stunning views of the Kemijoki River and the surrounding landscape. It's a great spot for photos and to take in the natural beauty of Rovaniemi.

End your walking tour at the Arktikum Museum. This museum provides fascinating insights into the culture, history, and environment of the Arctic region. Don't miss the Aurora movie, which showcases the breathtaking Northern Lights and offers an immersive experience into the wonders of the Arctic sky.

After your tour, indulge in a delectable lunch buffet to complete your visit.

Later - check out, meet your driver and travel to the station where you take a short train ride to Kemi.

Icebreaker Adventure on the Gulf of Bothnia with Snowcastle Visit

Begin your arctic adventure with a hotel pickup and transfer to Kemi, where your incredible experience aboard the Icebreaker Arktis awaits. This unique cruise takes you on a thrilling 3-hour journey through the frozen waters of the Gulf of Bothnia, an unforgettable highlight of the winter season.

During the cruise, marvel at the ship's powerful ability to break through thick layers of ice. Step outside to explore the frozen sea, walk on the ice, and embrace the magic of this icy wonderland. For an extra special experience, take part in ice floating—an exhilarating activity where you drift safely in insulated suits amid the frigid waters.

As a memento of your adventure, you will receive a special diploma certifying your participation in this one-of-a-kind Arctic journey.

Upon arrival visit SnowCastle Winter Park -   snowy wonderland for the whole family. The park is open daily, offering unforgettable experiences for all ages. Enjoy fun slides, a mysterious snow labyrinth, a traditional Finnish carousel, and many other exciting activities. Take a break from your adventures to warm up in the SnowCastle restaurant or café, and then continue your fun-filled day. The Winter Park admission ticket is valid all day, so you can enjoy your adventures at your own peace.

Husky Safari Adventure in Sea Lapland  & Departure 

In the morning, after bundling up warmly, you will enjoy a 20-minute car transfer to an authentic Finnish husky kennel. The 5-kilometer trail takes you across the frozen landscapes and swamps of the pristine Sea Lapland wilderness.

Before the adventure begins, your guide will provide driving and safety instructions. This is a self-driving safari, where one of you will mush while the other relaxes in the sled. Halfway through, you can switch roles if you'd like. For children’s safety, those under 16 years old will ride in their parents’ sled, as they do not have enough weight to control the sled or stop the dogs.

After the thrilling safari, warm beverages will be served while you hear fascinating stories about the everyday life of Alaskan huskies. There will also be time to pet the friendly huskies and capture some unforgettable moments in pictures.

After the tour - check out and have a station transfer.  

Arrival 
Upon arrival, you are transferred to your hotel for check-in and have some rest after the trip. 

Departure
Today is the final day of your exciting Lapland adventure. After breakfast, you check out from the hotel and your driver transfers you to the Helsinki airport for your flight back home.
