Day 1
Arrival in Reykjavik

Welcome to the picturesque capital of Iceland, incredible Reykjavik! Your driver meets you at the airport upon landing and takes to the centrally located hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the nearby area on your own, admire the jaw-dropping beauty of the surroundings, and check out one of the local restaurants.

Day 2
Reykjavik City Tour & Northern Lights Seeking

The next morning after breakfast, you meet your private driver-guide and set off on an exciting 3-hour city tour around Reykjavik's most interesting attractions as well as the best sights of the nearby area.

First, you head to the official residence of the President of Iceland, impressive Bessastadir. After that, you go to the Hafnarfjordur - a charming port town, located about 10 km (about 6 mi) from Reykjavik. Known as the home of Huldufolk ("Hidden people" aka Elves in English), this magical place is a "must" for anyone interested in exploring the local folklore.

Your next stop is the futuristic Perlan Dome, a perfect place to admire the spectacular views over Reykjavik and its surroundings and take a couple of breathtaking photos.

The next stop for today is Hofdi, the building that hosted the summit between the former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and the former U.S.S.R. Secretary General Mikhail Gorbachev back in 1986. Then, you proceed to the Hallgrimskirkja Church - the tallest building in Iceland (as well as one of the most impressive ones) - where you have a chance to walk up the stairs to admire the views over the city center (entrance tickets are not included).

After that, you go to the Althing building - a beautiful19th-century building, housing the main debating chamber of the Icelandic parliament.

In the evening, you and your private driver-guide so on an unforgettable 3-hour Northern Lights tour. Hopefully, you not only learn everything about the Aurora Borealis during the tour but also witness this incredible phenomenon, flashing across the sky in brilliant patterns.

After the tour, you return to your hotel and have some rest after such a long but exciting day.

Many things can be said about Iceland, and one of them is that this scenic country is definitely not short of amazing views. Especially when it comes to the natural beauty of Hnappavellir, home to the world-famous Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and the out-of-this-world Diamond Beach.

Day 3
Vatnajokull National Park and Glacier Lagoon

The next morning after breakfast, you check out from your Reykjavik hotel, meet your guide-driver in the lobby, and set off to the South Coast of Iceland. To enhance your journey, you have several stops at the most remarkable landmarks of the area.

First, you visit Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most famous and spectacular waterfalls, before heading to see the scenic Skogarfoss waterfall. The next stop is Solheimajokull glacier tongue where you enjoy a walk along the eastern path, taking you very close to the beautiful glacier. This unique experience is available only for guided tours. During your hike, you see the famous black Reynisfjara beach and stop by Vik, Iceland’s southernmost fishing village where you have a break for lunch.

After that, you continue your drive towards Hnappavellir. The next planned pit-stop is Iceland's (and Europe’s) largest glacier, Vatnajokull, and the picturesque Skaftafell National Park.

Then, you proceed to the famous Glacier Lagoon. Upon arrival, you are welcome to admire the lagoon and its famous icebergs, take some spectacular pictures, and even walk along the Diamond Beach before heading to your Hnappavellir for check-in.

You have some time to rest at the hotel, and in the evening you are invited to Northern Lights hunting over Crown Jewel of Iceland, the Glacier Lagoon.

  • Please, note: it takes four and a half hours to drive from Reykjavik to Hnappavellir, but with all the planned sightseeing stops, the journey will take about 12 hours.

Day 4
Glacier Lagoon & Return to Reykjavik

After breakfast at the hotel, you are welcome to rest in your rooms, go and explore the area on your own till lunchtime, or join the optional tour to visit the fabulous Ice Cave.

    Sign up for one of the most amazing winter activities and explore the kingdom of natural blue Ice Caves, hidden underneath the biggest Glacier in Europe.

In the afternoon, you check out from your hotel, have lunch, and take a chance to admire the beauty of the Glacier Lagoon and the Diamond Beach in the bright daylight one more time. After a quick stop at Fjallsarlon (a mini version of the Glacier Lagoon, boasting even more icebergs although smaller in size and fewer tourists), you head back to Reykjavik.

Shortly after, you stop for a coffee break and have a chance to walk to the beautiful Svartifoss, the Black Waterfall. Other beautiful waterfalls you see today during the journey are the magnificent Systrafoss, the jaw-dropping Sisters' Falls, and the grand Urridafoss waterfalls.

Upon arrival in the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik, you check in to your downtown hotel and have the evening free.

Blue Lagoon & Northern Lights Cruise

Following breakfast, you meet your driver at the hotel's lobby and continue your Iceland exploration with a relaxing tour to the world-famous Blue Lagoon, one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.

There you enjoy several hours of bliss, bathing in the warmth of the Northern sun and relaxing in warm geothermal seawater, while surrounded by a surreal lava field.

In the evening, we invite you to enjoy an unforgettable Northern Lights Cruise onboard a modern boat that takes about 2-3 hours. During the voyage, you once again enjoy the beauty of the Aurora Borealis while your expert guide tells some interesting stories about the Northern Lights and explains this incredible phenomenon.
