Iceland Northern Lights Journey

Welcome to Reykjavik, the scenic capital of Iceland! Upon arrival, your driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

Afterward, enjoy an orientation drive around Reykjavik to see its main sights. You will pass Bessastaðir, the official residence of the President of Iceland, and Hofdi, the historic building where the 1986 summit between U.S. President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev took place. You will also see the Althing building, a classical 19th-century structure that houses the main debating chamber of the Icelandic parliament.

In the evening, embark on a private Northern Lights jeep tour. Together with your driver-guide, you will leave the city to escape light pollution, with locations chosen based on current cloud coverage to maximize your chances of seeing the Aurora Borealis. Possible stops include Kleifarvatn Lake, where the Northern Lights may reflect on the water, or Thingvellir National Park, where the Aurora might dance above the mountains. The tour lasts approximately three hours, after which you will be returned to your hotel.

After breakfast and check-out, meet your private guide-driver for travel to your next destination.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, you have the option to view the Northern Lights from the hotel.

After breakfast, meet your driver-guide for a visit to one of Iceland’s most stunning sites, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Here, you can admire and photograph the lagoon and its floating icebergs, and perhaps take a stroll along the nearby “Diamond Beach.” Afterwards, continue your journey back to Reykjavik.

Upon returning to Reykjavik, check in to your hotel. In the evening, embark on another private Northern Lights hunt for a chance to witness the stunning dancing lights.

Today marks the final day of your incredible Iceland adventure. After breakfast and check-out, your private driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
