Being the biggest hub for hundreds of miles around, Tromso is the off-season destination boasting not only numerous scenic photo spots but also a great variety of outdoor activities.
Welcome to the Gateway to the Arctic - the magical town of Tromso! Your driver meets you at the airport and takes to your hotel for a check-in. The rest of the day is free so you can start exploring the magnificent city center on your own, dine in one of the local restaurants, or take a good rest in your comfortable room.
No meals included.
Following breakfast, you have a free afternoon to stroll the city's cozy streets on your own. In the evening, you walk to the meeting point from where you set off on a group tour. Your driver transfers you to one of the most scenic areas of Northern Norway, the magnificent center of Camp Tamok.
At first, you have short instructions on safety and driving. Then you are invited for an exciting northern activity - snowmobile Northern Lights Seeking group tour! Fantastic mountain scenery and wild winter landscapes accompanied by magnificent views of the Northern Lights - this is definitely a journey you will remember for years to come!
This tour includes transfers from a meeting point, warm winter suits and boots, a helmet, a hot meal, and a hot drink.

Breakfast and light dinner are included.
Today after breakfast you have the morning and afternoon at leisure. Later we invite you for a magical Northern Lights group cruise which gives you a unique chance to witness colorful Aurora beautifully dancing in the sky. The prime time for watching the Nordic Lights is between 9 pm and midnight, so your tour starts late in the evening. Northern Lights seeking from the seaside is especially exciting as the cruise takes place at night-time away from the city lights. Light dinner is served on board.
After the cruise, you are transferred back to the meeting point and walk to your hotel.
- Please, note: the cruise is available from October 10 to March 31
Breakfast and dinner are included.
Following breakfast, prepare for one more unusual activity - a fascinating whale safari.
During the winter season, mighty whales often come close to the coast of Northern Norway. You and your team sail out from the city by a hybrid catamaran. Wondering why the tour is called silent? Upon arrival at the whale site, you cruise in a silent electric mode not to distract animals and appreciate their beauty to the fullest.
The combination of the Northern winter and beautiful northern wildlife (including whales, orcas, seals, and sea eagles) is a lifetime experience. Don't forget to charge your cameras for memorable shots!
- Please, note: the tour is available from November 1 to January 25. Outside of this timeframe, it is replaced with self-drive dog sledding.
Breakfast is included
