Day Trip to Roskilde

After breakfast, meet your guide and make your way to the train station for a journey to the historic city of Roskilde (round-trip train tickets included). On arrival, set off on a 3-hour tour focused on the Viking era in Denmark.

The highlight of the visit is the Viking Ship Museum, where you’ll gain remarkable insight into Viking life. See five original 11th-century vessels and the impressive reconstruction of the longship The Glendalough Sea Stallion. You can also try your hand at coin minting, stop by the jewelry workshop, or paint your own shield.

Before returning to Copenhagen, explore Roskilde Cathedral, the city’s most treasured landmark and the burial site of 39 Danish monarchs. Once back in Copenhagen, enjoy the evening at your leisure.
