Arrival in Stockholm

Välkommen till det vackra Stockholm! That means welcome to the beautiful Stockholm in Swedish! Upon arrival, you're met by your private driver at the airport and then transferred to your central hotel.

The rest of the day is free so you can spend it at your own pleasure. Relax in the comfortable hotel or begin your Stockholm exploration by having a good time in one of the local restaurants or taking a stroll through its wonderful streets.

Stockholm City Tour with Vasa Museum

Today is the day of getting to know magnificent Stockholm! But breakfast first - you need to gain some energy before hitting the road. After breakfast, you meet your guide and enjoy a 4-hour city tour visiting the most alluring attractions of Stockholm: you discover the wonderful Old Town of Stockholm, one of the biggest and most well-preserved medieval European Old Towns; take a glance at the City Hall, see the famous Royal Palace and the Stockholm Cathedral.

Together with your guide, you take a short ferry ride towards the island of Djurgarden to explore the famous and the most visited museum in the entire Scandinavia - the Vasa Museum and its almost fully intact 17th-century ship that sank on its maiden voyage.

When the tour is over, you return to your hotel and enjoy a free evening. You can take a rest at the hotel, explore Stockholm on your own, or enjoy one of our optional evening recommendations.

Flight to Kiruna

Following delicious breakfast, you meet your private driver who transfers you to the airport for a short flight to Kiruna (flight tickets are included). When you arrive, you have a private transfer to the unique place of snow and ice - Ice Hotel. 

  • Note: Warm accommodation in a traditional hotel is available on request.

The rest of the day is at your own disposal. Enjoy the surroundings, relax at the sauna, or even practice ice sculpting. 

  • Optional tour: Northern Lights snowmobile tour with dinner
    The Northern Lights snowmobile tour is a great way to spend this evening in Kiruna. Together with your specially trained guide you go for a nightly excursion to hunt the magical Northern Lights.​

Train Ride to Lulea & Harads Village Tour

After energizing breakfast you check out from your hotel and then are transferred to the train station to board a train that takes you to Lulea (train tickets are included).

When in Lulea, your private driver meets you and takes to the charming village of Harads where you leave your luggage at the unique Tree Hotel nestled in the middle of the forest.

You are then invited to a walking tour around the village. After the tour, you return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure.

  • Optional tour: Bear dinner with a Sami Story
    In the glow of the fire experience the Sami Bear Ceremony. Hear the ancient Legend of the Bear, learn about the Sami rituals, hunting traditions, and celebrations, including Sami songs.
     
  • Optional tour: Tour of the Storforsen Nature Reserve
    The Storforsen Nature Reserve is home to Northern Europe's largest rapid, which doesn't freeze even in the extreme cold. At Storforsen, you walk an easy 2 km nature trail of wooden walkways.

Your private driver takes you to your newly opened boutique hotel located in Rovaniemi's very center. The rest of the day is free, so you can begin your getting to know the nearby attractions, walk around the lovely city streets, or just relax in your comfortable room before your exciting tomorrow program.

Snowmobile Safari to Reindeer Farm and Husky Park & Santa Claus Village

Today is dedicated to exciting northern activities and exploring Lapland sights!

You join a fascinating group tour and start with a 1-hour snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm where you meet traditionally dressed people, learn more about reindeer husbandry and Lappish culture, and enjoy a short introductory reindeer sleigh and husky ride.

Next, you continue your trip to Santa Claus Village where you have some time to visit the Snowman World and attend a real ice bar located within. You can also buy some traditional Finnish souvenirs and send postcards with a special Arctic Circle stamp from Santa Claus's main post office.

After the tour, you return to the hotel.

Day 8
Transfer to Inari, Visiting the Sami Museum & a Local Sami Family

The final stop on your journey is the authentic Inari region, the center of the unique Sami culture. After breakfast, you check out from your hotel and meet your driver who takes you to your final destination.

When you arrive in the Inari region, you leave your luggage at your centrally located hotel and join a 1-hour guided tour to the Sami Museum and Nature Center. Explore the culture, traditions, and nature of Northern Lapland. Additionally, you have 2 more hours to explore the museum on your own.

In the afternoon your driver picks you up at the Sami Museum and transfers you to a remote location by Lake Muddus where you have a 3-hour group visit to a local Sami Family. You are introduced to its reindeer herd, that you can pet and feed, while the hostess tells you about the importance of reindeer for Sami people. You also find out about the fascinating process of creating traditional Sami fur boots of reindeer hide and learn what life is really like in the far north.

After this exotic experience, you return to your hotel for check-in and have the rest of the day free.
